Puerto Morelos - The Grand Reopening of Desire Resort & Spa is now scheduled for March 01, 2006.
This lifestyles resort has been completely renovated:
El Arrecife: The main restaurant open for breakfast & dinner buffet style will now be air-conditioned and the entire restaurant will be remodeled with new floors, buffet lines, furniture and decoration.
Tentazione: This restaurant formerly serving Mexican Cuisine will be transformed into a new Italian Restaurant and will be fully remodeled.
Suki: A new specialty restaurant with Asian cuisine and sushi bar.
Il Piacere: This restaurant & cocktail bar which serves fine international cuisine will maintain it's flair and decoration.
Coconut Snack & Grill: This area open for lunch and snacks is being completed re-designed.
Bars:
Melange Lobby Bar: Completely transformed into the "Desire Lounge", re-designed to include bar service, lounges and beds.T his area includes the second swimming pool which will be transformed and feature two water mirrors and lounge area.
Piano Bar: This bar area is being built next to the Disco Lounge.
The other bars will also remain: Jacuzzi Lounge, Coconut Bar and Il Piacere Cocktail bar.
Hotel Lobby and reception: This area is being redesigned and will be now be air-conditioned.
New Passion Suites: There are eight new oceanfront passion suites, which offer superb amenities and features. A must.
Jacuzzi building: The ground floor rooms of this building now offer views to a garden and fountain instead of the parking lot (4 rooms total).
