New Riu Palace Set to Open This Week

Riu Palace Riviera Maya, the latest addition to the Riu family in Playa del Carmen, will open on February 3, 2006. The all-inclusive upscale resort boasts 400 elegant junior suites with hydro-massage bathtubs and all of Riu's distinctive amenities, such as satellite TV, a mini-bar and liquor dispenser, and sitting areas inside and on the balcony. Riu Palace Riviera Maya is the 11th Riu Resort in Mexico.

Resort amenities include a complimentary gym, sauna and jacuzzi, an expansive pools, and complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels. The resort also offers a lit tennis court, kayaking, windsurfing, volleyball and introductory scuba lessons in the pool. For younger guests, Riu Palace Riviera Maya offers a children’s swimming pool and playground. All guests enjoy the talented Riu animation team who perform nightly shows, organize beachside games and poolside dance lessons.
