PUERTO MORELOS, MEXICO, February 21, 2006 – The Paraiso de la Bonita Resort and Thalasso Spa announced today that it will re-open for reservations starting March 31, 2006. The hotel, located about half-way between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, was closed after Hurricane Wilma slammed through the region in October 2005.

The hotel is member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World and it is also a AAA Five-Diamond rating - the only one in the Riviera Maya. The resort's restaurants have been redesigned, the suites have been renovated and upgraded and a two-person treatment room has been added to the hotel's Thalasso Center spa.

Resort architect and owner Carlos Gosselin said, "We decided to make improvements and enhancements to the property that will add to the quality of vacations our clients expect and the level of service for which we are known."
