Cancun, July 2007 -- Bulldog Cafe, one of Cancun's most popular nightclubs, now offers a weekly "Lucha Libre" theme night, offering patrons the chance to watch live Mexican-style wrestling on the main stage. Located on Punta Cancun and close to Coco Bongo, Daddy O's, Sr. Frog's and other bars, Bulldog is known for its live rock music, stage-side Jacuzzi and lively scene of vacationing revelers.
The wrestling them night gives visitors a little taste of the Mexican costumes, traditions and folklore, while highlighting the abilities and skills of local athletes. Aside from the wrestling, there are awe-inspiring acrobatics, an open bar and plenty of Cancun-style parting and dancing.
The Lucha Libre show plays every Tuesday night, starting at midnight. The wrestling ring is also used as the dance floor, giving all attendees the chance to take pictures and enjoy the thrill of being in the ring. The club's waiters and other staff wear Mexican wrestling masks and masks are also given to some partiers to make the night even more fun and exciting.
