Playa del Carmen -- UPI is reporting that MTV has decided to hold the fifth annual Latin American Video Music Awards in Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes rather than giving Playa del Carmen a second chance at the event. The show was scheduled for the Riviera Maya last year, but it was postponed and then cancelled due to the damage caused by Hurricane Wilma. This year's event will mark the first time that the show will be held in Mexico.
