ProHotel International Announces Expansion Plans

PUERTO AVENTURAS, September 14, 2006 -- ProHotel International, a hotel management and ownership company specializing in small luxury properties, has announced aggressive expansion plans for the coming years, including additional projects in the Riviera Maya.


The company, which owns the Hotel Esencia in Xpu-Ha and recently sold its Ikal del Mar property in Punta Bete (near Playa del Carmen), has more than 15 projects in various stages of development. The company's approach is to create unique hotel properties that, "seamlessly blend into their environment, incorporating local culture and a strong sense of place," according to Sandra Beltran, the firm's VP of sales and marketing.
