MIAMI –- A 37-year-old passenger on a cruise ship was reported missing overboard as the liner cruised from Playa del Carmen to the Miami over the weekend.
The woman was last seen aboard the Imagination around 1:30am on Sunday and the Coast Guard was alerted about the incident the next morning.
The 37-year-old woman was on a four-day cruise to Key West and Calica, which is the nearest deep-water terminal to Playa del Carmen.
The Coast Guard indicated that the incident was likely not foul play.
